Digital Strategy Intern

We’re looking for bright, hungry, independent thinkers who are ready to dive in and help us inspire creative people and build powerful brands. You will be thrown into the thick of the agency’s processes, working in highly collaborative teams to do real work to make sense of data, dig up insights, help the agency do great work, and help our clients succeed.

At TRG, digital strategists are connectors. Our work requires collaboration with many other disciplines: creative, media, technology, client leadership, and content studios. You’ll work with, learn from, and show your stuff to a broad group of people across the agency.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Watching the digital space: Competitive analysis – track down great work from related industries to inform briefings, client reports, and department point-of-view papers.
  • Building the foundation for smart strategies: Use digital research tools (NetBase, Affinio, Helixa) to build context for strategic recommendations.
  • Creator identification: Identify high-potential creators for brand partnerships.
  • Performance analysis: Pull insights out of campaign data (media analytics, web analytics, social performance data).
  • Staying abreast of Internet culture: Contribute to ongoing tracking studies that identify nuanced cultural trends occurring across the social web.

  • Digital curiosity: You keep a close watch on the digital and social landscape. You find yourself going down rabbit holes looking at new technologies or exploring niche communities in the social space.
  • Making: You’ve been part of building something – a campaign, a video series, a podcast, a nonprofit. You understand how to collaborate to make progress while keeping a larger vision in mind.
  • Resilience: You’re able to make a difference for projects, even when things don’t go perfectly.
  • Creative sensitivity: You have a perspective on what good creative looks and feels like.

  • Demonstrated passion for digital and its opportunities for building impactful campaigns
  • Direct contributions to brand-building digital work – as an intern, in school projects, or as a passion project
