Environmental, Health and Safety Fall Internship

· Conducting qualitative and quantitative respirator fit testing

· Maintaining and calibrating IH equipment

· Maintaining appropriate air sampling instruments for full-shift, task-based, and grab samples

· Conducting and documenting chemical inventories

· Understanding effects of the physical properties of substances

· Recognizing the relationship between temperature and pressure on exposures

· Assist with exposure sampling involving routine monitoring methods for physical, chemical, and biological agents.

· Interpret labels and SDSs and communicate the hazards to workers

· Assist with indoor air quality assessments

· Prepare written programs to meet individual regulatory standards and customer needs

· Accurately prepare written project reports and customer correspondence

· Conduct simple construction safety inspections
