Intern - Returned Goods/Field failure

Position Summary:
The RG/FFA intern will be responsible for assisting experienced professionals for material and process improvement projects related to Dexcom's sensor technology platforms.
 
Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Processing products returned from the field and conducting investigations for various field failure codes.
  • Support test method development and process improvement projects.
  • Prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
  • Executes experiments as requested by superiors.
  • Works with engineers to develop investigation process and adapt to new execution of testing.
  • Writing or re-writing investigation procedures and/or retesting based on understanding of test.
  • Observes critical details during experiments.
  • Troubleshooting test equipment and software tools.
  • Analyze/troubleshoot experimental data and develop conclusions.
  • Maintains laboratory notebook.
  • Maintains a safe working environment.
  • Performs all work in conformance with the most recent revisions of Dexcom's PI’s, SOP’s, MPI’s and LHR’s.
  • This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in diabetes is a huge plus.
  • Highly flexible and able to shift priorities as needed.
