Intern - Equipment Engineering

We ask for our intern candidates to be flexible to a virtual format or residence in the location of the position throughout the duration of the internship.
 
Position Summary:
The US Marketing Intern will support the healthcare provider and direct to consumer marketing teams in executing the company’s marketing efforts. The candidate will work across departments to further on a variety of marketing projects, which may include contributing content, asset management, coordinating events, and supporting the development of marketing claims. The candidate will be required to document their progress and provide regular updates to the team.
 
Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Support the development of marketing content for use in print and digital collateral.
  • Execute on a marketing asset management plan, providing regular updates on progress.
  • Review research studies and reports to find evidence for winning marketing claims.
  • Support events, meetings, and activities that arise within the marketing teams.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and alignment and make recommendations.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. (A writing sample will be required.)
  • Knowledge of marketing, branding, creative services, public relations, journalism, or communications.
  • Interest in, or familiarity with, the healthcare industry. Experience with the medical device or biopharmaceutical industry is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated interest in diabetes is a huge plus.
  • Highly flexible and able to shift priorities as needed.
  • Self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills.
