Technical Engineering Intern (42239BR)

As an intern at Synopsys, you will gain hands-on experience while working alongside industry professionals. You will develop and refine skills relevant to your major and future career by contributing to high-impact business projects. The Synopsys intern program integrates our interns into the culture with career opportunities upon graduation. This summer internship is full-time (40 hours/week) beginning May/June 2023 and will last three months.


Responsibilities:

You will explore the utilization of massive parallel computation and vectorization in speeding up circuit simulation. The goal of this project is to gain a clear idea about how much modern CPUs can speed up numerical computation via vectorization. Additional, you will learn how to maintain scalability when one does circuit simulation on a large number of CPU cores.


Requirements:

  • Understanding of Numerical Computation
  • Parallel and Multi-threaded Computing
  • Graph Algorithm
  • C/C++ Programming experience
  • Knowledge of Circuit Simulation
