Technical Engineering Intern (42249BR)

As an intern at Synopsys, you will gain hands-on experience while working alongside industry professionals. You will develop and refine skills relevant to your major and future career by contributing to high-impact business projects. The Synopsys intern program integrates our interns into the culture with career opportunities upon graduation. This summer internship is full-time (40 hours/week) beginning May/June 2023 and will last three months.


Responsibilities:

You will create numerous tools for efficient analysis / debugging over large number of distributed processing logs. Examples include "best practice" distributed grep that can leverage multiple hosts / cloud to search through large number (>50k) of sizable (>1TB) log files.


Requirements:

  • Familiarity with C / C++ programming
  • Familiarity with system programming on UNIX platform
  • Understanding of distributed systems
  • Understanding of multi-thread systems
  • Debugging skills
  • Currently enrolled in college pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or similar area
