Application Engineering Intern for Power Device Flow (42384BR)
As an intern at Synopsys, you will gain hands-on experience while working alongside industry professionals. You will develop and refine skills relevant to your major and future career by contributing to high-impact business projects. The Synopsys intern program integrates our interns into the culture with career opportunities upon graduation. This summer internship is full-time (40 hours/week) beginning May/June 2023 and will last three months.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in building Power Device flow for Silicon Carbide and Gallium Nitride devices
- Build a custom design flow for Power device unit cells, termination cells
- Generate test benches for running simulations
- Use TCAD to generate device models
- Build power device PDK with techfile and Python PCells
- Build documentation for flow
Requirements:
- Candidates currently doing M.S (Electrical Engineering), specializing in Power Devices
- Proficient in Python and Tcl
- Basic understanding of Power Device structures
- Running TCAD and simulations
- Currently enrolled in college pursing a relevant degree
