2023 MSU Organic Energy Storage Laboratory Summer Research Intern

The Organic Energy Storage Laboratory at the Michigan State University Bioeconomy Institute in Holland, MI has openings for summer 2023 interns. These positions perform original research in a lab setting. The research covers a variety of categories involving energy storage, alternative energy, organic synthesis, analytical chemistry, electrochemistry and device design.

We are accepting applications from students enrolled in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering programs who have completed at least one organic chemistry class and lab. Assistance finding housing is available.

Our summer researchers will have an opportunity to give a poster presentation at a symposium.

Past employees and interns have gone on to work at national research labs and tech companies and have continued their research at prestigious graduate schools.

Successful candidates for these positions will consider organic chemistry their favorite class and lab, and enjoy working in a lab setting. Chemistry degree is preferred. Please see our website for more information.
