Intern: Develop Data Analytics plugin for VS-Code
As an intern at Synopsys, you will gain hands-on experience while working alongside industry professionals. You will develop and refine skills relevant to your major and future career by contributing to high-impact business projects. The Synopsys intern program integrates our interns into the culture with career opportunities upon graduation. This summer internship is full-time (40 hours/week) beginning May/June 2023 and will last three months.
Responsibilities:
As an intern in this position, you will work on developing plug-ins for SWE apps for the Modern IDEs (VS Code, C-Lion et al) to significantly improve developer productivity, and provide a holistic user experience. This will improve development velocity by providing RD the apps that they needs in their IDE environment, significantly improving productivity and reducing time to commit code. Goal of this project is to develop and provide plugins for these (and other SWE) apps as part of the Modern IDEs.
Requirements:
- Comfortable in Java
- Knowledge of Typescript or Javascript
- Familiarity with software development practices - writing tests, debugging
- Currently enrolled in college pursuing a relevant degree
