eCommerce Summer Intern
Overview
The Express Summer Internship Program is a 10-week paid program that offers undergraduate Juniors and Seniors the opportunity to work with and learn from experienced professionals while gaining exposure to various aspects of a retail fashion company. The Summer Intern class will include students interested in hands-on experience in an area of interest and exposure to cross-functional collaboration as well as gaining valuable professional development.
The 2023 program runs from June 5th to August 11th, and positions will be available in our Columbus, Ohio headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Assist all eCommerce functions in driving strong business results and a superior customer experience
Merchandising
- Partner on content strategy and execution
- Activate new product to site and app
- Execute ticket creation in support of all eCommerce initiatives
- Participate in competitive patterning and make recommendations based on findingso
Analytics
- Mine data and conduct analysis in support of business needs
- Deliver ad-hoc analysis and recaps as requested
Operations
- Execute site pricing and promotions as directed
- Review "voice of customer" data and make recommendations as necessary
- Participate in the execution of site changes and improvements
User Experience
- Participate in user-testing and all usability activities
- Pattern competition and recommend experience enhancements and improvements
- Help team to prepare demos and other materials as necessary for approval meetings
Community Commerce
- Administrate and assist in monitoring of social groups
- Assist in development of training and mentoring materials

Requirements
- Availability to work full time (40 hours per week)
- Preferred GPA at or above 3.2
