UpWest Digital Analytics & Activation Summer Intern

Overview
The Express/UpWest Summer Internship Program is a 10-week paid program that offers undergraduate Juniors and Seniors the opportunity to work with and learn from experienced professionals while gaining exposure to various aspects of a retail fashion company. The Summer Intern class will include students interested in hands-on experience in an area of interest and exposure to cross-functional collaboration as well as gaining valuable professional development.

The 2023 program runs from June 5th to August 11th, and positions will be available in our Columbus, Ohio headquarters.

Responsibilities 
  • Support several functions within the marketing team including eCommerce, analytics, owned marketing (email & SMS), and store marketing 
  • Activate against strategies for daily, weekly, and monthly calendars including promotional schedules that align with and supports brand level milestones and activity
  • Interact with marketing functions and cross-functionally with merchandising to ensure creative and directional alignment. 
  • Assist in the UpWest data environment including tagging, analyzing, storing, and reporting of all consumer data 
  • Report on daily consumer activity to digital activation lead 
  • Assist in tagging all aspects of the UpWest site through Google Tag Manager and Heap Analytics to analyze the data 
  • Assist in the creation daily, weekly, and monthly reports of KPI's to share with the organization 
  • Assist with all data platforms such as consumer data platform (CPD), data warehouse, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Heap Analytics

Requirements 
  • Availability to work full time (40 hours per week) 
  • Preferred GPA at or above 3.2
