Production & Sourcing Summer Intern

Overview 

The Express Summer Internship Program is a 10-week paid program that offers undergraduate Juniors and Seniors the opportunity to work with and learn from experienced professionals while gaining exposure to various aspects of a retail fashion company. The Summer Intern class will include students interested in hands-on experience in an area of interest and exposure to cross-functional collaboration as well as gaining valuable professional development.

The 2023 program runs from June 5th to August 11th, and positions will be available in our Columbus, Ohio headquarters.

Key Responsibilities 
  • Analyze Cost Management 
  • Maintain management of the Calendar -How we build agility into the delivery dates & prepare time and actions 
  • Review production deadlines and approval deadline dates -Following through to ensure PO and size breaks are passed 
  • Vendor Communication 
  • Management of On Order -Including how we work with the Distribution Center 
  • Interaction with merchant and allocation partners for order management 
  • Milestone Meetings -Attend meetings with executive leadership in attendance 
  • Development of Technical manuals•Data Entry and Sample Management 
  • TQM -How we build quality into the product

Requirements 
  • Availability to work full time (40 hours per week) 
  • Preferred GPA at or above 3.2
