Bilingual Bookkeeper Assistant (Mandarin)

Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable: promptly pay all vendors, ensuring we do not overpay/double-pay invoices, incur late payment fees
- Accounts Receivable: work with off-side Bookkeeper to create all invoices and ensure the due dates are correct for the Bookkeeper to collect payments from merchants
- Monitor credit card expense reports to obtain receipts and reasons for each purchase. Upload all credit card activity into Quickbooks
- Code all invoices received according to the general ledger of accounts and enter bills into Quickbooks and make payments by credit cards
- Reconcile all of our recurring payment invoices for multiple companies
- Work with Bookkeeper for monthly inventory counts; make sure all inventory is accounted for on Smartsheet, Quickbooks, and physical inventory
- Refunds; help Bookkeeper prepare all documents through our refund policy and enter credit memos for merchants
- Maintain historical records by filing documents

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, studies in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred
- AR and AP experience
- Excellent knowledge of Quickbooks and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative

Pay: $24-$26/hr
