The Air Force Civilian Service is looking for a Computer Scientist (GS-1550-07T12) to work at the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the Air Force Test Center (AFTC), at the 96th Range Group, 96 Range Control Squadron at Eglin AFB in Florida.

This position has a typical 2022 salary range of $51,209 - $103,176 (includes locality).

In this position you will serve as a Computer Scientist responsible for the software development and sustainment of web and client/server based applications to support the mission needs of the 96th Range Control Squadron. Responsibilities include customer interactions, hands on software development, review and testing of peer software in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain & maintain Security clearance
- BS in Computer Science
- Experience with at least one high level programming language such as C#, C++, Java, or Python
- Basic experience with programming languages for web development: HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, or PHP
- Basic experience with relational databases and SQL
- Recommended experience with technologies/frameworks such as: .NET, Blazor WebAssembly, Angular, React, Vue, ASP.NET, or MVC
