Day Camp Leader-Summer Camp 2023
DAY CAMP LEADER | based out of Green Lake Bible Camp
In addition to our on-site summer camp ministry, Green Lake Lutheran Ministries provides Day Camp ministry to several congregations around Minnesota. Each week we send out an average of 3-4 Day Camp teams, each of which consist of at least 3 staff members, to lead VBS-style programming. Day Camp Leaders head up these teams, facilitating a unique and quality experience at each congregation. Your main responsibilities include guiding and adapting weekly schedules, communicating with church leaders before and during the program, creating meaningful and fun experiences for campers, and supporting your team. Day Camp teams typically stay with host families in the Day Camp community for the week or you will stay at camp and commute each day to closer sites. Required training begins on May 22, 2023 for Assistant Program Directors, Day Camp Leaders and Program Support Staff.
