Information Technology Specialist (Applications Software)-OCFO

These positions are in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Office of Technology Solutions, Systems Research and Development Division. The location will be determined after a selection has been made for the position; if selected, you must work at one of the locations stated in this announcement. The salary will be commensurate with the location.

About:  Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO)

At the entry level of this position, you will:

-Provide support to higher-graded IT Specialists in the area of application software; programming, analysis, and problem resolution;

-Learn and provide maintenance for existing software systems;

-Research application software security information, policies, principles, and practices;

-Assist with IT systems projects and activities in support of the program staff.

When entering a Federal job at a grade level lower than the highest promotion potential level, you may be promoted to more complex duties and work more independently, as your career progresses.
