As our full-time Team Lead for our Community Support Team in Wake County, you will ensure that services run smoothly, clients receive optimal care, and that services provided are consistent with service definitions. The Team Lead provides direct care/clinical services to identified clients that are appropriate for the community-based services and community support. We empower our team leads to strengthen their teams with staff management and development, direct client care/clinical, and administrative oversite of program specific tasks.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision to team members including direct observation and evaluation of model fidelity
  • Develop and support team members toward independent practice and to fully meet job requirements
  • Review and certify notes and documentation for staff, as needed
  • Ensure follow up with supervisees' documents including but not limited to: failed activities, service notes, authorizations, person centered plans, NC TOPPS
  • Conduct weekly CST meetings and a minimum of monthly individual supervision
  • Complete authorizations for services
  • Establish relationships with a comprehensive, targeted list of providers and other relevant community organizations

Qualifications
Educational and Experience
  • Minimum Master's degree in a Human Services field
  • Meets the requirements specified for a QP status according to 10ANAC 27G.0104 (Additional training requirements apply if providing NC State defined enhanced services; must be completed within 90 days of employment or within 90 days of providing service)
Licensure/Certifications
  • Currently licensed to practice clinically (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHT)
  • Licensed in Substance Abuse treatment preferred
OR
  • Will become fully licensed (provisionally licensed at date of hire) within 2 years of hire.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability, knowledge, and training to understand nature of addiction, withdrawal symptoms, and identify symptoms of alcohol and drug addiction
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Diagnostic skills
  • Familiarity with the DSM 5 for diagnostic and treatment purposes
  • Working knowledge of systems theory and/or other counseling theories and substance abuse treatment
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment; ability to work in a team setting as well as independently
  • Proactively seeks out clients through internal and external outreach if case load does not provide enough cases to meet billable expectation/productivity requirement

Benefits
Full-time employees are eligible for medical benefits the first of the month 30 days after hire date. Options for a standard plan and an HSA plan with a $300 initial contribution and up to a $25 per paycheck match. 10 paid holidays and PTO hours which accrue at a rate of 10 hours per month. After 6 months employees are eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan which has a 4% match. Company paid life insurance, short and long term disability, in house and paid training opportunities, and additional pay for working holidays.
