Danfoss Postgraduate Program

Global Postgraduate

Are you looking to impact the green transition and accelerate your purpose-driven career at the same time? Joining Danfoss as a Global Postgraduate gives you the opportunity to develop yourself through completion of strategic business projects. The program is a 2-year, global career journey with four rotations including at least one abroad. Your curiosity and ambitions guide your project selection, but we’ll help direct you towards a variety of experiences which will expand your toolbox, ensuring that you are ready to take on the future. 

As a Danfoss Postgraduate, you can expect to:

  • Work on business-critical projects that help our customers decarbonize through our energy-efficient solutions. Projects could be within areas such as emerging market development, finance, supply chain optimization, manufacturing excellence, electrification, digitalization, data analytics (just to name a few). 
  • Get a unique opportunity of insights to and hands-on experience with different business units, tasks and career opportunities. 
  • Be assigned to an experienced people leader as your mentor who will support your professional and personal development. 
  • Be assigned a Buddy (a current Postgraduate) to support your transition into Danfoss and the Postgraduate-community. 
  • Contribute to our great Postgraduate-community. You will have your first rotation with the other Postgraduates in Nordborg or Graasten, Denmark and will therefore most likely be living in Sonderborg. 
  • Have at least one rotation abroad; preferably more. Examples of destinations could be the US, Singapore, Turkey or Germany. 
  • Participate in multiple development sessions across our global locations with focus on accelerating your skills and career development. 
  • Receive an invaluable kickstart to your career with an international scope and steep learning curve. 

As our future Postgraduate, we imagine that you:

  • Completed a master’s degree within business, finance, supply chain, engineering, IT or similar in 2022 or 2023.
  • Relevant work experience or extracurricular activities obtained next to your studies.
  • Have leadership aspirations and are committed to making a sustainable change; not only for Danfoss, but also society.
  • Value working in diverse teams in a conscientious and inclusive way.
  • Cherish curiosity, forward-thinking, and experimental behavior, and although you sometimes fail, you learn from your mistakes. 
  • Are a humble and open-minded team player, who are committed and take responsibility for your actions.
  • Are globally mobile throughout the program.
