Process Engineering Intern
Location: Redwood City, CA
We are currently seeking rising undergraduate sophomores, juniors, or seniors working towards obtaining a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering for an internship during the summer of 2023.
Objectives/Goals of the Position:
Process improvement studies to support manufacturing batch scale-up.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform emulsion preparation and process improvement studies to support batch scale-up.
- Track, trend, and analyze in-process data.
- Provide engineering solutions to manufacturing scale-up challenges and meet all safety, quality, supply requirements.
- Provide oversight or hand on execution of studies.
- Communicate with accurate updates on timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Exercise and implement LEAN manufacturing practices and procedures.
Requirements:
- Rising undergraduate sophomores, juniors, or seniors working towards obtaining a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or general Engineering majors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Technical skills in SQL database and programming.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0+
