Donaldson Company, a $3B customer-focused, technology-led global filtration company is looking for an EHS intern to support our corporate operations. In this role you will help manage Donaldson's environmental, health and safety framework to continuously reduce environmental impacts while providing safe, healthy and compliant workplaces for our employees, visitors and neighbors.
EHS Internship Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with environmental, health and safety risk assessment tools to identify exposures to health and safety hazards or environmental aspects.
- Conducting sampling and data collection required to demonstrate compliance with the site’s regulatory requirements.
- Performing audits and/or area reviews.
- Tracking action items and facilitating their closure.
- Processing data related to environmental, health and safety events such as near miss incidents and internal inspections.
- Supporting completion of preventive maintenance for EHS-critical equipment and processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior working towards an accredited Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Fire Protection, Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline.
