Freshens/Spicer Student worker

Freshens Fresh Food Studio/Zee's Natural is looking for students who are interested in serving great rice bowls, smoothies, crepes and salads as well as maintaining a convenience store. We are a grease-free location! In addition, shifts at the Spicer Residence Hall Zee's will also be available to those with matching availability.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, responsible, able to multi-task, and great at customer service. You could be asked to do the following, including, but not limited to; customer service, safe food service, lifting up to 50 lbs, rotating stock, prepping of food items, and other tasks as asked by management.

The uniform for this location is: black pants (no leggings or sweats), a t-shirt provided to you, a chef coat provided to you, a hat or visor provided to you, and black non-slip shoes. A stipend towards shoes is provided once a year by the company.

•   Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions

•   Properly stores food in accordance with standards

•   Sets up workstations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.

•   Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations

•   Serves food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating the customers’ needs

•   Replenishes food items and ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels

•   Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.

•   Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including food safety and sanitation

•   Ensures security of company assets

•   Previous food service experience preferred

•   Must have or acquire food safety certification
