Multimedia Production Intern (Summer 2023)
Summary of Role
The Creative Production Intern will be responsible for creating innovative and engaging content. They will spend their time learning and working on video production (shooting & editing), graphic design, photography (shooting & cataloging), copywriting, and in-platform social creation (TikTok, Reels, Stories, etc.). Their content will be expected to engage and delight Organic Valley consumers across social channels (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest & TikTok), and owned channels (blog, website, email).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
o Creating in platform social content (TikTok, Reels, Stories, etc.)
o The production of social video content
o Basic editorial photography
o Graphic design for social and other digital platforms
o Curating user-generated content for social reposting
o Basic copywriting and storyboarding
o Bringing new ideas and positive energy
o Assisting with studio & location shoots (setting up lights, holding microphones, etc.)
o Analyzing & evaluating content effectiveness
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
o Cross functionally supports social media within Integrated Marketing as requested.
o Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
o Curiosity, excitement and willingness to learn.
o Passion for storytelling, creative content production and social media.
o Currently enrolled in post-secondary education with one year or less from graduation required.
o Currently working towards a degree in any of the digital arts preferred.
o Coursework in or equivalent life experience in two or more of the following required:
Video production (shooting & editing)
Graphic design
Copywriting
Photography
o Competent in Photoshop & Premiere Pro editing software.
o Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, required.
o Proficient with Microsoft Office programs required.
o Ability to prioritize workload and responsibilities effectively.
o Ability to work individually and in a team environment.
o Strong organizational and time management skills.
o Interest in organic and working with farmers and cooperative business model preferred.
