Human Services - Work Study or Internship

$1500 sign on bonus for Work Study / Internship employees who are either Part Time or Full Time! Hiring Evenings & Weekends - great for student schedules!

Seeking students who can work independently, exercise good judgement, are compassionate, positive & great team members! If you enjoy building relationships and positively impacting people's lives, this could be a great fit for you!

Supported Living Staff coordinate and accompany people on recreational activities, assist and teach activities of daily living- such as cooking or assisting with personal cares- and most importantly provide companionship.

These positions are an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience for students interested in (but not exclusive to) hands-on experience in the fields of Human Services, Healthcare, Nonprofits, Physical / Occupational Therapy, and other majors. Also great for applicants with experience in caregiving as a Direct Support Professional or other in-home support, social workers, teachers, psychology majors, nurses, health care professionals, physical therapists and occupational therapists, and more!

No experience is required! All paid training provided on site.

Position Details
  • Position Title: Supported Living Staff
  • Part time staff earn $16.00/hour
  • Full Time staff earn $17.00/hour
  • An additional $2.00 incentive for staff working direct support shifts, between the hours of Friday 3:00pm through Sunday 10:00pm. This includes awake and asleep overnight shifts. This incentive will be effective 9/4/2022 - 1/7/2023.
  • $1500 sign on bonus for Part Time & Full Time staff
  • Part Time or Full Time positions available.
  • Openings in Fond du Lac, Beaver Dam, Platteville, Madison, and Stoughton, WI - with local travel to surrounding communities.
  • Work Study option is a paid "earn while you learn" opportunity, available to UW Madison students; also available to other schools on a situational basis.
