Digital Marketing Intern
Internship - Job Summary
The Lillian Lodge Kopenhaver Center for the Advancement of Women in Communication is currently seeking for (2) Digital Media Interns to join our team to assist in producing and editing video content and creating, launching and publishing throughout our various social media channels such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
Duties to include:
- Edit video content for the Kopenhaver Center
- Create social media content for the Kopenhaver Center
- Monitor the LLK Center’s social media accounts and posts content; coordinating and scheduling social media posts in collaboration with supervisor
- Assist identifying opportunities, drafting copy, using appropriate related images, taking photos/video, etc.
- Keep up-to-date with new social media platforms, templates and best practices as related to the University
- Develop relationships with PantherNow (FIU Student Media) to cross promote the Center’s activities/events
- Assist setting up and distributing promotional materials (flyers, posters, easels, etc.) around campus when requested
- Provide suggestions to management for improving customer experience on social platforms and internal processes.
Digital Media Intern Qualifications / Required Skills:
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva
- Knowledge of FIU marketing and branding protocols
- Video editing
- Social media marketing
- Online engagement
