Data Analyst
Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Analytics team. This position is located in our New York office.
Job Overview:
Reporting to the Director, Digital Analytics this position will be responsible for delivering actionable insights and reporting from our digital datasets and internal databases in support of our Medical Communications division.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to internal stakeholders
- Use data visualization tools to provide actionable data for the business
- Assist in development and formatting of automated dashboards to provide ongoing reporting
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Skills and Requirements:
- 1-3 years related experience
- Hands on experience or familiarity with analytics/reporting platforms, including Adobe Analytics (nee Omniture, Site Catalyst) and/or Google Analytics
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with using SQL and data visualization tools (Looker, PowerBI, etc).
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of Python and/or R
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
- Yearn to ask questions to gain a better understanding of a concept or the data
- Ability to think creatively about challenging problems
- BS/MS degree in related field (or equivalent training and experience)

- The salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, skill level, functional and/or industry knowledge, education level, certifications, as well as other qualifications.
