Construction Field Engineer/Construction Manager

Role description:
Arcadis is currently seeking a Construction Field Engineer/Construction Manager to provide support on environmental remediation and demolition projects. This position will be based in Reno, NV and will require local and regional travel. 
You will be responsible for working towards managing significant construction projects, construction planning and field support. This position requires the ability to work independently, comfortable in a construction environment, and willingness to travel at least 75% and in most areas of the United States.
Role accountabilities:
  • Interaction and communication with clients
  • Project Planning and Costing
  • Managing and updating construction schedules
  • Determining and communicating staffing needs
  • Tracking field costs and material volumes
  • Preparing Daily, Weekly, Monthly Field Reports
  • Working with and directing subcontractors and other contractors
  • Managing day-to-day activities on large construction/remediation projects  
  • Promoting and tracking safety performance
  • Conducting tailgate safety meetings
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, related degree, or equivalent work experience
 
Preferred Qualifications  
  • Demolition and/or remedial construction experience
  • Previous experience with field engineering, construction management, and construction oversight
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER
  • 10-Hour OSHA Construction
