Senior/Principal Scientist, Biophysics
We are looking to add a biophysicist to our growing drug discovery team as we identify and develop novel, natural product-inspired therapeutics to address serious illnesses in multiple therapeutic indications. As a key member of our high-performing drug discovery team, the ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute biophysical assays to identify the molecular targets recognized by Hexagon Bio-produced metabolites. Subsequently, the successful candidate will be involved in the characterization of optimized molecules as metabolite hits to advance clinical candidates. On a daily basis, the biophysicist will have an opportunity to work with a motivated team of synthetic biologists, natural product chemists, biologists, and medicinal chemists who collaborate to develop innovative approaches to identify novel therapeutics. Additional responsibilities include documenting, analyzing and interpreting experiments, and presenting results within a multidisciplinary team environment.
