Sales Operations Intern (Summer 2023)

Internship Experience

Alteryx's Internship Program is a place where students from varied backgrounds, identities, and experiences come together to lay the groundwork for their futures. Our Summer 2023 Internship Program will be a hybrid working experience that allows students to live and work in a remote environment while also offering opportunities to come together in person.

What You’ll Do:

 As an Intern on our Sales Operations team, you will:  

  • Contribute to meaningful solutions which impact the larger business
  • Help build, maintain, and improve our data and reporting foundation
  • Audit data in Salesforce.com to ensure high data quality
  • Identify areas for automation and improvement of critical system processes
  • Complete ad-hoc projects as required
  • Learn the sales technology function by working with Sales Development Representatives and Account Executives  
  • Assist with projects relating to sales activities to help drive pipeline for our field sales teams
  • Answer inbound sales inquiries and facilitate strategic outbound prospecting 
  • Promote and help with marketing events 
  • Research and document customer use cases 


Required Skills:     

  • Students currently enrolled in a degree program in pursuit of business administration, communications, and/or related field of study
  • Ability to work for 12 consecutive weeks during the Summer 2023
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and should not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to multitask and be a self-starter with contributions from managers/team
  • Creative approach to problem solving 
  • Curiosity and desire to learn/upskill
 

Valued Skills:     

  • Students within 1 year of graduation preferred (e.g., graduating between December 2023 through June 2024) 
  • Clear and concise communicator, both written and verbally
  • Interested in systems and integrations 
  • Critical thinker; Able to find the optimal/scalable solution
  • Alteryx experience is a plus
  • Salesforce experience is a plus   

Compensation:

  • Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.  The salary for this role is $28/hour. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
