NORDBLOOMS IS SEEKING A SOCIAL MEDIA & E-COMMERCE CONTENT MARKETING INTERN IN NEW YORK (OR REMOTE)

Nordblooms is a New York based premium florist applying Scandinavian design to flowers curating sustainable arrangements for interior design. Preserving the Art of Nature through our cutting-edge technology and focus on eco-friendly practices, we specialize in bio-preserved flowers that maintain their freshness and beauty for up to one year. Each bouquet is hand tied and shipped directly to our customers through our e-commerce store and delivered in our signature delivery box. 

As a Social Media & Content Marketing Intern you will assist day-to-day in planning and creating engaging content that is distributed across various channels including social, website, email and media. You will have attention to detail and be responsible for producing error free content. The position requires the ability to balance multiple projects at once.

·       Write high engagement social media, email, video script, article, blog content that reflects our brand’s voice.

·       Collaborate with marketing to develop written content marketing materials.

·       Produce grammatically correct content that adheres to the company’s style guidelines.

·       Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive content strategies.

·       Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines.

·       Propose content concepts and present underlying strategic thinking.

·       Implement SEO best practices with web and social media content.

·       Understanding which content is best suited for different platforms.

·       Research on industry trends and best practices.

·       Influencer and partnership outreach.

·       Degree in Marketing, PR, or communications (preferred)

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office.

·       Social media savvy 

·       Experience writing social media and e-commerce copy.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication.

·       Time management and organizational skills.

·       Adobe photoshop. Illustrator, InDesign (preferred but not required)

·       Independent self-starter

·       Knowledge of SEO 

·       3-4 times a week

·       Work remotely

·       College credits and/or a monthly stipend

·       A great way to build a portfolio with published work.

Candidates should be interested in design, sustainability, entrepreneurship and have a pulse on the latest trends.
