The Main Responsibilities

As a Software Developer within our Strategic Planning and Transformation organization, the Intern will work collaboratively to test product efficiency and reliability; focus on the building and new enhancements, as well as maintaining existing flows and mitigate problems found during the process for our government agency contracts. 
Work project overview: Intern will work with EIS Federal Portal team to understand the requirement, build solutions, work on enhancement both Front end and Back-end technologies. Learn Ordering flow and it's back-office provisioning. Notification to GSA on Order acceptance, completion and billing.
 

What We Look For in a Candidate

Education Requirements 
o   Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior bachelor’s level education status at the start of the internship, graduating August 2023 – June 2024.
o   Major/Degree: In pursuit of degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical degree field.
Work Setting
o   Ideally the position will be in one of the following offices: Broomfield -CO, Dallas, TX. Must be local to these two locations. 
o   Intern must be able to work 30-40 hours be week during the 10-week program (June 2 – August 11)
o   Intern must have reliable transportation to/from work location (Lumen does not provide transportation to/from Lumen office locations)
Proficiency and understanding of; 
o   Understand the requirements of each task and discuss the approach with more senior members of the team. 
  • Good to have skill set includes: VueJS, ReactJs, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node JS, Postgres DB, Mongo DB, Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Github

o   Problem-Solver – you will need to be able to analyze a situation and make recommendations for resolutions, sometimes these answers are not obvious
