The Main Responsibilities
Lumen’s Data Science Innovations & Blockchain team is looking for an Inter - Blockchain Developer with a passion for working on cutting-edge technologies and solving complex business problems. The position involves working closely with the business to understand the needs and move data related to the project at hand. Position responsibilities include:
• Troubleshoot issues in a Blockchain HLF infrastructure by tracing peer.node logs
• Smart Contract and ChainCode Development for a shared Ledger
• Unit and Quality Assurance testing of all developed code
• Collaborate with other team members to integrate several components into a finished product
• Work closely with the product owner and Agile Coach to create stories and features
• Interface with multiple development and Business teams from our Blockchain partners
What We Look For in a Candidate
Education Requirements
o Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior or master’s level education status at the start of the internship, graduating August 2023 – June 2024.
o Major/Degree: In pursuit of a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical degree field.
Proficiency and understanding of;
o Understand the requirements of each task and discuss the approach with more senior members of the team.
o Experience with Blockchains/Distributed App (DApp) development
o HyperLedger Fabric 2.2 experience a plus
o Saleable Javascript/Node.js development
o React.js / Angular for UI development
o Cloud competency for API development, 3rd-party integration, and cloud-deployment
o Database (CouchDB and/or Relational)

o Problem-Solver – you will need to be able to analyze a situation and make recommendations for resolutions, sometimes these answers are not obvious
Work Setting
o Ideally the position will be in offices: Broomfield -CO - hybrid. May consider remote/ work from home.
o Intern must be able to work 30-40 hours be week during the 10-week program (June – August)
o Intern must have reliable transportation to/from work location (Lumen does not provide transportation to/from Lumen office locations)
