- GS-0899: As a Student Trainee (Engineering), the duties may include providing technical and clerical assistance in the field of engineering or architectural projects, facilities, structures, systems, processes, equipment, devices, material.
- GS-1399: As a Student Trainee (Physical Science): the duties may include providing technical or clerical assistance in research or other professional and scientific work in the fields of physical science.
