Hingham High School Needs Your Help
Like businesses everywhere, public schools here in Hingham are contending with a significant labor shortage. Unlike many businesses, though, the work of education is defined by service to others. Hingham High School has openings for full-time para-educators (teaching assistants) and part-time substitute teachers. Both positions offer an opportunity to serve the community while making a difference in the lives of young people every day. 
Working as a substitute teacher at HHS offers a number of other advantages, including:
  • Flexibility and choice (since it's an "on-call" position, you choose when you want to work) 
  • No teaching experience or content expertise is necessary (most assignments simply require supervision while students complete work left by the regular teacher)
  • The chance to help your local public school and its students during a time of need
