Internships are onsite at our Store Support Center in Ankeny, Iowa, where you'll volunteer within our community, attend social outings, hear from our senior leadership team, and make some pizzas, of course!
As an Inventory Management Intern, you will assist the Inventory Management team with various projects, including analyzing current inventory against future demand to optimize warehouse space, decrease carrying costs, and supply efficient order fill to all 2400+ stores. You will review weeks of supply in comparison to supplier lead times and constraints to determine necessary stock transfers amongst all DC's. This internship will also allow you to collaborate with demand planning, warehouse management, and logistics to resolve excess and aging inventory issues.
Qualifications:
- Currently working on completion of Bachelor's degree in related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new systems.
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
