This position is to provide support for the Mail Services' department during daily operations. 

Job Responsibilities: 

Completes distribution-related duties to ensure best practice which includes timely receipt and quality handling of incoming and outgoing U.S. and University mail and packages. 
Assist Mail Services staff in processing surplus forms and moving surplus inventory.
Available of a minimum of 7.5 hours up to 10 hours per week, flexible work schedule is 1pm – 3pm.

This position reports to the Shipping and Mailing Supervisor, Mail Services.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Must be physically able to safely perform efficiently the duties of the position, which may at times require exertion involving prolonged lifting, standing, walking, bending and reaching, and may involve the handling of heavy containers and carts of mail and parcels weighing up to 55 pounds.
Must have some experience in interpersonal communication and customer service skills. 
Ability to work independently with high level of attention to detail. 
Some knowledge Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word & Excel.
Maintain full-time student status with a minimum of 2.0 GPA, semester and cumulative.

Satisfactory criminal background check and completion of all required hiring paperwork is required.
