This internship is an experiential role and will not lead to full-time opportunity.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Process improvement: Define, analyze, and implement process improvements in pursuit of operational excellence
- Project management: Develop, implement, and manage projects throughout the entire process improvement life cycle
- Project planning: Work with business sponsors and project team members, develop implementation project plan including timelines, milestones, training, and communication plans
- Project execution: Drive ownership and accountability for executing tasks on time and on quality.
- Project valuation: Identify and document savings and/or benefits related to process improvement activity, and follow-up to ensure post-improvement sustainability.
- Implement change management best practices to support and drive adoption of changes related to process improvement activities
- Leave your “paw” print with a project designed to make a true impact on the business
- Present your recommendations and innovative ideas to PetSmart leaders
WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
- A passion for nonprofits, supporting communities AND pets!!!
- Ability to navigate priorities, as it relates to assigned project(s)
- Able to conduct research and synthesize findings
- You like things right - details are everything!
- Creative, innovative thinker and problem solver

- A drive for results
- Graduating Dec 2023 or May 2024
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retailing and Consumer Sciences, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- You are proficient in MS Office
