Great River Children's Museum Fund Development VISTA (MAVA)
The VISTA will support current staff by updating and maintaining a database of constituents, building and stewarding relationships with prospective donors and community partners, and organizing efforts to solicit donations from the public.

Great River Children’s Museum’s (GRCM) mission is to shine a bright light on the power of play to spark children’s learning, strengthen families, and build community connections. Its dynamic, interactive environments and experiences are a gateway to the world and its people for children and families of ALL backgrounds. These are the guiding principles of all past, current and future GRCM activity. Great River Children’s Museum is a Minnesota 501(c)3 nonprofit organization registered on February 23, 2012. The GRCM Fund Development VISTA will: help grow the museum’s organizational capacity by supporting the museum in its current capital campaign. The VISTA will more importantly help every new relationship be fostered and strengthened over time. The VISTA will be engaged to assist with thanking donors, creating plans to celebrate successes, identifying ways to share progress, and transitioning campaign donors into annual fund donors. The VISTA will help recruit and train volunteers to be a part of the fundraising process which is a critical role to ensure the success of GRCM. Volunteers and donors should be treated as lifelong friends of GRCM, and the Vista will help support the creation and execution of volunteer recruitment and stewardship plans. This is an opportunity to help build something new and from the ground up.
