IT Project Coordinator Intern Position Summary
The Project Coordinator will support the Information Technology organization through the delivery of projects and operational responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is passionate about organization and efficiency and desires to move projects and/or tasks to completion. This position will work in a collaborative team environment to drive the work of small-to-medium level projects, at times in support of larger program initiatives. The ideal candidate will have an ability to see the big picture and incorporate problem solving, critical thinking and tactical execution into their daily work, as well as a passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Expectations & Accountabilities…
- Oversee the planning and delivery of small-to-medium sized technology projects
- Assess project risks and issues while providing support to remove blockers to the project
- Demonstrate the ability to define and gain support for project delivery processes
- Display effective organization skills to manage multiple priorities
- Foster strong working relationships between project teams by working (at times in granular detail) as needed to move projects through the lifecycle
What you’ll need to be successful…
- Education: Working towards a bachelor’s degree in business, management information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
