JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Wordpress Development Intern
Department: KI NuMedia
Reports to: KI NuMedia Project Manager
Hours Per Week: Approximately 5-10
Hourly Pay: $15
Desired Start Date: 9/1/2023

The Wordpress Development Intern will support the organization and our clients in the setup, creation, expansion and maintenance of Wordpress sites. They will troubleshoot issues with web hosting, domains, email setup, wordpress installation, themes, plugins, CSS & HTML, ecommerce stores and plugins and other duties as needed. They may also participate in the identifying and implementing technology solutions to address various organizational needs.
Responsibilities and Duties
● 80% Web Development Support - They will troubleshoot issues with web hosting, domains, email setup, wordpress installation, themes, plugins, CSS & HTML, ecommerce stores and plugins and other duties as needed. Research, identify and recommend technology solutions when needed.
● 20% Team Meetings & Checkins - Attend team meetings and checkins to report on activities and set and discuss progress on team goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Required Skills
● High level of confidence and experience in creating and maintaining Wordpress websites
● Experience in managing web hosting a plus
● Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
● Great writing and verbal communication skills
● Excellent Analytical and Problem-solving skills
● Willing to learn, a curious mind

Experience:
● Two years experience in Wordpress/web development through an internship, job or
equivalent coursework.
