Store Merchandising Internship - Summer 2023

Looking to start your professional experience? Join Casey's with an unforgettable internship! You'll gain meaningful experience, learn the business, and make an impact working in an area aligned to your major and interests. You'll build connections and relationships with other interns, coworkers, and leaders through onsite and offsite events. Casey's is a growing, Fortune 400 company with opportunities to stay on part-time during the school year, or potentially turn your internship into a full-time role.

Internships are onsite at our Store Support Center in Ankeny, Iowa, where you'll volunteer within our community, attend social outings, hear from our senior leadership team, and make some pizzas, of course!

As a Merchandising Intern, you'll assist the Merchandising team to analyze and interpret sales data from over 2400 stores and seven regions over 16 states. While also working closely with the Category Management team, you'll understand the impact and effect that pricing can have on product category sales volume, margin, and profitability. You'll identify trends in data from multiple sources and provide insights that will help drive profitable sales for the company. Depending on our project needs at the time, you may be called to identify areas of opportunity for the salty snacks product category, measure product affinities between pizza and fountain drinks, research competitive pricing trends in beverages, category performance analysis, store group analysis, database set up, inventory efficiency analysis or evaluate the success of candy promotions. Join this new and growing team for the summer!
