Digital Marketing Internship - Summer 2023

Internships are onsite at our Store Support Center in Ankeny, Iowa, where you'll volunteer within our community, attend social outings, hear from our senior leadership team, and make some pizzas, of course!

As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will help our team create and execute marketing campaigns. Responsibilities will include assisting the Digital Team with various projects, including brainstorming campaign concepts, creating marketing content and copy, building on guest acquisition strategies, building engaging activations, and digitizing the guest experience. You will help build automation and personalization capabilities informed by first party data. You will get exposure to how we build new capabilities to create new and better experiences for our guests while achieving our strategic goals. You will also have the opportunity to strengthen and learn new skills related to the Software Development Life Cycle. Specifics include:

  • Tools: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Customer Data Platform, Punchh (Rewards Platform), Native Apps (iOS & Android), Hybris (Commerce Platform)
  • Skills: Scope Definition/Alignment, Requirements Gathering, Problem Solving, Agile Development, Stakeholder Management, and Presentation Sharing

Qualifications:
  • Currently working on completion of Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
