Data Analyst

The Data Analyst will support and execute on data analytical activities, building and maintain relationships within the business, and ensuring alignment with supply chain partnership strategies. This position will provide operational support in collaboration with internal and cross-functional stakeholders as required. The Data Analyst will support the development and implementation of new or modified policies, processes, and procedures, as well as support the execution and management of strategic supply chain partnership initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with establishing, managing, and strengthening relationships with external partners partners to increase value
  • Document new & existing processes to improve efficiencies
  • Review existing processes and propose creative solutions for improvement
  • Support the analyses, interpretation and reporting of data and information pertaining to all activity related to partner development
  • Provide support and execution of strategic and change management initiatives as required 
  • Review and document open items during team meetings and track completion dates
  • Utilize historical data sets and planned product changes to model and forecast business trends
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting on department initiatives and status reports
  • Develop analytics to identify trend lines across several data sources within the organization
  • Examine and evaluate existing business practices and systems, and offer suggestions aimed at creating efficiency and streamlining operations
  • Apply predictive analysis and tools to forecast and employ business analytics (including an enhanced ability to quantify and qualify data)

Qualifications

General Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or closely related field strongly preferred
  • Master's Degree in these or other related disciplines a plus
  • Must be commutable to and from the Rockleigh, NJ area to perform in this role's hybrid work arrangement
  • Must have permanent, unrestricted work authorization in the United States now and in the future
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Skill in PowerBI preferred a plus
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, MS Project, Outlook, & PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to work with and analyze data
  • SQL, Power Apps, and/or SAP proficiency preferred

  • Strong business acumen and an understanding of how data impacts business
  • Must be responsible, self-motivated, creative, have a solid work ethic and have a desire to produce a quality product
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening) with the ability to articulate work at different levels of the organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Inquisitive individual with a desire to learn, possessing a long term desire to work in the Supply Chain/Technology space
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
  • Positive, personable, and able to work cohesively with other across various divisions
