HOURLY RATE: $16.00
DATES: December 20, 2022 – February 6, 2022
LOCATION: 170 N. Dearborn Street – Chicago, IL 60601    

BACKGROUND:

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Goodman Theatre seeks a Stage Management Intern for our production of Toni Stone which tells the sensational story of the first woman to play professional baseball. The intern will be an essential member of the Stage Management team. The SM Intern will join the Stage Management team beginning with pre-rehearsal preparations through the opening of the show.

This is a Non-Equity position with an hourly rate of $16.00 per hour. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist Stage Management team with daily preparations for rehearsal
  • Prepare and update paperwork for each show
  • Additional rehearsal duties as needed (i.e. on book. line notes, etc.)
 
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to prioritize tasks and be very detail oriented, work collaboratively as a team member and maintain a positive attitude
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
