Store Leadership Internship Program - Summer 2023
Passionate about retail and see yourself as a future leader in our stores? If so, we want you for our Store Leadership Internship Program for Summer 2023!
This program is 12-week experience in our supermarket divisions where interns will work in our stores and learn from our leadership team on how to be a future Assistant Store Leader. Interns will get an overview of store operations, marketing, merchandising, purchasing, supply chain management, financial analysis, and human resources. Interns will shadow leadership in all of our store departments, work on a designated retail project and gain experience of working as part of an effective team.
This is an in person experience and all candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university.
When? May 15 - August 4, 2023
Where? Across the United States in The Kroger Family of Companies and our banner divisions.
Minimum Position Qualifications
- Enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Previous retail experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to navigate change and respond to challenges with a positive demeanor
- Demonstrate initiative and to work independently, as well as collaboratively, in a team environment
- Commitment to providing superior customer service
