Program Supervisor: Youth Crisis Program

The San Francisco Aspire STRTP Program is designed to provide treatment to youth involved in the child welfare system, provide a safe and supportive environment in our Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) setting. San Francisco Aspire serves 1 - 3 youth from San Francisco as they prepare to live in a resource family residential neighborhood in San Francisco. Our unique program centers around the individual needs of each youth. We provide a high staff to client ratio that allows us to focus on building relationships and fostering permanency connections.
 
We are hiring a Program Supervisor for our program in San Francisco and Oakland, our supervisor will split their time between both locations. As the Program Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to supervise and provide guidance to a passionate team of Stabilization Specialists delivering individualized support to youth transitioning into a foster care environment. You will oversee all phases of treatment, coordinate and hold staff meetings, provide crisis management support as needed, and serve as the point person for the relief staff pool. The Program Supervisor implements creative and flexible crisis management with a trauma-informed approach. You will work with the leadership team in program development to maintain and improve the quality of program services by providing recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the program is run in a safe, therapeutic and efficient manner.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality services through all phases of treatment: intake, assessment, treatment planning, intervention, discharge.
  • Perform the following personnel functions: interviewing, supervision, evaluation, and professional development.
  • Serves as the point person to the COMPASS relief staff pool.
  • Ensure timely and effective documentation by program personnel.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals, reports, and policies.
  • Work with leadership team to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and policies
  • Provides direct care and crisis management support as needed 
  • Participates in on-call after hours rotation

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in high acuity settings.
  • Own vehicle, Valid California driver's license and insurability with Seneca's automobile policy.
  • TB test clearance and fingerprinting clearance.
  • Any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster required.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Good organizational and writing skills.
  • Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the use of behavior modification techniques is desirable. 
  • Experience in or administrative involvement in programs serving children with high acuity needs.

Schedule

  • Full-time; 1PM - 9PM
  • Sunday - Thursday

  • Starting at $72,840 - $86,840 annually. Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications
