Engineering Summer Intern - Savannah, GA

The Operations Co-op position exists as a developmental support position for our manufacturing operations teams. The position will be involved in day-to-day process engineering support activities and also be responsible for completing 1-2 larger, long-term projects which will be defined at the beginning of the co-op rotation. Co-ops will be targeted at the sophomore and junior levels and will complete 2-3 rotations within the Company's manufacturing operations and may be assigned to manufacturing plants located in Panama City, Florida; Pensacola, Florida; Savannah, Georgia, Belpre, Ohio and Dover, Ohio.
The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:
- Define and complete 1-2 large projects within the rotation period.
- Gain knowledge of the Company's operations and provide technical support as needed.
- Participate in plant management and departmental team meetings.
- Create and deliver end of semester presentation/report to senior management and executive leadership.

- Must be a proficient user of Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Willingness to work in an industrial manufacturing process/operation.
- Able to work off hours if needed/necessary.
Education:
- Students seeking Bachelor’s degree in Polymer or Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemistry.
- A current undergraduate or graduate-level student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Polymer or Chemical Engineering or related technical field with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
