Allocation Analyst

IMPACT ON YOUR BUSINESS
The Allocation Analyst will partner with Planning and Buying teams to maximize store business by location. They will make decisions through analysis of sales and established business criteria, and guidelines. The Allocation Analyst is an entry level role that reports to the Merchandise Planner.
EXPECTATIONS FOR SUCCESS
  • Maximize business, by location, through execution of allocation strategies in collaboration with Planning and Buying.
  • Utilize company supported tools to develop a thorough understanding of business within specific area of responsibility.
  • Allocate purchase orders in a timely manner, based on buying and planning direction and knowledge of product flow to drive decisions.
  • Review purchase orders and communicate, as needed, the recommended changes and/or exceptions to support quality allocations.
  • Assist Merchandise Planner with day-to-day tasks and special projects as assigned.
  • Communicate and partner with Buyer, Planner and Location Planning on an ongoing basis.
KEY ATTRIBUTES
  • College Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Retail field is preferred.
  • Previous work-related experience is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated.
  • Ability to occasionally work varying hours.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Work is preferred.
 
 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Must have full body rotation and mobility (i.e., bending, stooping, etc.).
