Construction Estimator
Semke Grading & Pipeworks is seeking an intern to learn the role of a construction estimator. We are flexible with hours and the start/end dates.
Responsibilities
- Create accurate & timely bid proposals for projects using quantity Take Off software
- Solicit pricing from subcontractors & vendors
- Control and approve change orders and submittals
- Attend pre-bid meetings
- Monitor project schedule and job costs
- Represent Semke Grading & Pipeworks in project meetings
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills including On-Screen Take Off software, preferably AgTek 4-D
- Ability to read and understand grading & utility site plans
- Organized & detail-oriented
- Able to work independently & meet deadlines
This is a paid internship.
