Student Associate Program- Strategy & Business Operations (Business Season 2022-2023)

JOB TITLE: Strategy & Business Operations – Data & Analytics Student Associate 
DEPARTMENT: Data & Analytics 
SUPERVISOR: Director, Partnership Data & Analytics 
  
ROLE SUMMARY: 
As Strategy & Business Operations (D&A) Student Associate, you will be responsible for supporting Partnerships Data & Analytics by contributing to key areas of the sales process across all of MSG Entertainment and MSG Sports Businesses. The role will be supporting Marketing Partnerships through the delivery of Ad Hoc requests, partner recaps, and any high priority D&A projects. Additionally, the analyst will support Marketing Partnerships efforts to improve the utilization and adoption of Salesforce. Responsibilities include assisting in key prospecting efforts, categories analysis, campaign build outs, and supporting Salesforce requests and administrative duties.  
  
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Grasp a thorough understanding of the entire Marketing Partnerships sales process and the ability to work with all users in training and support 
  • Assist in basic Salesforce administrative duties and report building 
  • Support the D&A team’s work with Business Solutions to drive analytical insights, evaluating and identifying areas of opportunity and action to enhance Marketing Partnership  
  • Leverage available research tools and vendors to uncover partnership trends and develop category insights in collaboration with Business Solutions 
  • Serve as support to the D&A Analyst for sponsorship data vendors, such as Nielsen, MVPIndex, SponsorUnited, etc. 
 
 QUALIFICATIONS: 
Required: 
  • Strong ability to quickly learn new software tools and programs 
  • Outstanding attention to detail 
  • High level of professionalism and enthusiasm 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills  
  • Effective time and task management 
Preferred: 
  • Knowledge of Tableau 
  • Knowledge of Salesforce 
  • Basic knowledge of sponsorship, premium hospitality, and sports industries 
 STUDENT ASSOCIATE REQUIRMENTS: 
  • Undergraduate candidates with a class status of junior or above or graduate candidates  
  • GPA of 3.2 or above 
  • Provide a letter from your school verifying enrollment  
  • Available to work a minimum 21-hour work week and a maximum 35-hour work week (35 hours required for the summer semester)
