The department of chemical and biological is seeking an undergraduate researcher for the following position:
This research assistant will assist in an algae research project by preparing inoculum cultures, maintaining strains, and taking and storing samples from experiments.
 
Required/Desired Qualifications:
Required: Second year or higher in a major with bioscience or bioengineering content; excellent communication skills
Desired: Prior experience with algae cultivation; laboratory experience; excellent analytical skills

Location:
Scott Bioengineering and Powerhouse Energy Campus

Payrate: $15 per hour
Hours: 5-10 hrs per week for the Fall and Spring semesters
